From the Beer Barrell Polka at Brewer’s games to learning about Salia Koroma while driving upline to Kahilaun, Sierra Leone, the accordion is near and dear to me in many ways (I tell people I’m mixed ethnically, but I’m 100% accordion). It’s often an under appreciated instrument, but you can hardly match the enthusiasm for it whenever you encounter a fan.
